Before we begin, I would like to make a call for content creators to contact us now if you're interested in covering Godsworn. We will be sending off review copies very soon in the coming days. The Early Access release is coming on the 28 of March.
Now, let's take a look at some of the units that the Order faction features. Each hero has their own combination of units, with additional god-specific units, structures, upgrades and powers. Since Michael will be the first playable Order hero, lets have a look at some of his unit roster.
Militant
Light and cheap infantry armed with a spear. Anyone can enlist in the crusade, but the standard equipment provided is limited at best. Militants are lightly armed but come at a low cost.
Upgrade: Halberds of Zeal. Grants militants halberds, allowing them to reach further and deal radiant damage.
Upgrade: Absolution. Grants the militants absolution from their sins. +1 magic resistance, +2 armor and +30 health.
Cherub
Cherubs are summoned through a divine skill of Michael. They come in various forms at random: the ox, the eagle and the the lion, each having a different damage type. The ox's damage is radiant, eagle's lightning and lion's fire.
Knight
Heavy cavalry armed with a lance. They have very heavy armor and a devastating charge.
Upgrade: Grace. Instead of dying, the knight is dismounted and continues fighting on foot.
Upgrade: Heraldry. Improves the knight's health and magic resistance.
Avenging Angel
A divine angelic soldier with a double sided spear of dark metal that pierces straight through any armor. On death she unleashes one final radiant blast.
Upgrade: Sacred barrier. Whenever a close by enemy hits the barrier, it will damage the attacker.
