Two Souls

Two Souls is a platform game in which the main element is reaching the exit and trying to keep both characters alive. Because: we control both characters at the same time and no, it is not a game for two players.

Steering

We move the characters with arrows or WSAD, as convenient, and with all kinds of pads. As I already mentioned, we control both characters at the same time, but their movement parameters are different. The knight jumps higher and moves faster. It can also attack, but we will discuss what it can be useful for in the next devlogs. The knight is also heavier than the princess, which is important, but unlike the princess, he is unable to use ladders. And this is where the puzzle begins, because in each level there will be a place that only a princess can get to, and a place that is only for a knight. There, the character will switch some lever or do another thing, which will in turn open access further or allow you to complete the level.

Did I mention that there is an optional treasure chest hidden in each level? I don't think so. So: yes; There is also something for those who want a greater challenge. Of course, don't expect me to show you how
to get to the box in any of the videos in this series. Finding it will always be difficult - at least I hope so - and will require an unconventional approach to the topic. If it seems that you have found a BUG in a level, there is a good chance that there is a treasure hidden there.

If you prefer video over text, you can see the gameplay with an overview below. It is in Polish, but has English subtitles.
