Background

I'm focused on performing several small adjustments that enhance the game experience. Small details, but they give more life and also make the game more appealing to the player.

And the focus is?

One of the factors that worked this week was camera effects when the base is hit by an enemy. The particles were already working within the expected but still need something more to draw the attention of the player and I put an effect to shaking the camera when an impact occurs at the base.

Should I invest more time now on improvement of particles generated by the impact at the base, because it was very basic smoke effect that needs to be improved.

I drew a large amount of custom particles for use in the game, but I confess that the impact of the base particle is still something that hadn't bothered. The view that the effect of shaking the camera was as expected, realized that the particles would need to be more polished to balance the whole cycle.

That's it for now
