Our game Space Tales is a Real Time Strategy game and in this genre maybe more than any other, the UI is crucial. We've been focusing our efforts on this lately, and would love to know what you think.
Of course, behind big Starcraft fans in our team, we've been influenced by this game in our work and I'm sure you'll notice that :)
You have the usual "Move / A-move / Hold Position / Patrol / Stop", and then the Unit's special ability.
Thoughts ?
Next step will be to work on the UI when the player is in the space ship! This is where the player will get to choose which planet to visit (and conquer) next... A couple of early concepts below:
