Planet growth is now fixed - there is no more special colonial modules, but you just need to discover appropriate dome or platform to colonise a planet that needs it.

To reload bombers more than one time, add more rocket storage units into your carriers, they will reload you bombers when they come back to hangars.

Hi!

- As to diplomacy - you can also use keyboard instead of mouse - use arrow keys to navigate and Enter to select a variant

- Unnecessary population growth is usually is not a thing you want to have - you need to feed all these people after all. So automatic economy restricts population growth is it cannot be used for any good...

I am currently re-drawing and re-designing all ships in the game, so all these problems with designing will disappear - the newest game version uses more clear way to show available space for your modules.

Also, a lot of new things are already implemented, like advanced espionage and new ground combat mechanics.

So, stay tuned for the next release :)

There is a mod kit that gives access to nearly everything in the game (including resources, buildings, ships, races, high-level AI, diplomacy, etc) - I use it for the current development as well, it will be released soon.

Actually, there is some misunderstanding :)
Space defence is a ground building, that intercepts space bombs coming from the orbit. So this building is only shown on a planetary screen.

The thing that orbits a planet and defends it (and is visible on a map) is either Battle Platform (need to be researched), or, initially, Military Satellite

Up to 30 races are permitted and can be easily added by mods, for me the most problematic part here is the new racial art (spaceships primarily) and racial texts. Now I am working on re-drawing spaceships for all races as well as racial images.

As to space defence - I am not sure I got the question right - what kind of space defence do you mean? If that one that protects against planetary bombing, it is re-worked already - I implemented a new ground combat system.

Thanks! Each fighter has its own AI, and pilot's experience defines how effective it can evade enemy attacks. I am still working on it, though - many new features to come.

Actually, I've sent Adam (the author of reviews for SpaceSector) a link and asked his opinion about the game, but that was in June and unfortunately the version I had that time had some problems running with several monitors installed, so Adam was not able to run it correctly.
I fixed this, but now it looks like Adam does not want to spend more of his time on the game until it gets some independent recognition...

I call it Alpha, because I still adding some major functionality. Right now I am working on a better ground combat and introducing espionage.
Then I'll add multiplayer (first, for tactical part) and will continue working on diplomacy.

Also, there are a number of game-changing ideas to be added to tactical and strategical parts offered by players. So, any feedback is welcomed.

Thanks for sharing with scifi community, maybe someone get interested and offer some features no one was thinking of before.
