Thanks for the kind words :)
Thanks for the kind words :)
currently this is available for the iphone/ipod touch right now! :D
The game is released so technically anyone could put up a server and play!
I totally understand, I was trying a lot of stuff out at the time :)
Sorry Im unsure what would cause this but it sounds like it is not correctly loading the image files for the game (hence the checkered boxes).
Make sure you extract the entirety of the game into it's own folder and double check that there are media files are in the "thdata" folder.
This is good for image hosting however (and I'm sure I may get some flack for this) the video hosting on moddb has a lot of significant hiccups. Such as watching 30 second advertisements for 15 second videos, videos simply not buffering, the seeking being broken, and just general unreliability in comparison to vimeo / youtube.
The image hosting to me is fine, in fact I use it plenty! But the video hosting is quite horrendous in my opinion.
really hope the engine gets a port to one of those devices I'd be really excited to get a game like this working on that :)
haha this mod is awesome. My favorite is definitely the run animations of that greenish horse on the first map (classic). Good work in a silly sort of way!
More for the sake of completion on the moddb profile page :)
coincidence in order of news posts, there definitely are some logo similarities ;)

it is the darkplaces engine, and this is a stand alone indie game not a mod.
This is the Darkplaces engine not Tech 3 :)
Maybe add Darkplaces profile or put under Quake1 since Darkplaces is a Quake1 derivative?
It doesn't matter much, good job though, looking forward to a release.
awesome guys keep up the good work!
I mean I don't see as much activity around these parts and people really building up developers. Not so much moddb's fault completely, its many factors such as the exponential complexity of engines and less mods therefore less people following them. I know the majority of modders outside of their own motivation thrive on feedback. Not saying what moddb is currently doing is wrong, rather because there are less people maybe more people should step up to lend a helping hand or just be active in trying to start communities or being a part of them. Like these fans might be interested in being moderators on the mods' forums or spreading the word (everyone knows PR as much as many devs condemn people who just want to do that is a necessary job). Didn't mean to flame though if thats what you thought I was implying.
Depends what the mod is, but the reason I don't go back to a lot of them is because most developers get disheartened by their first release building up so much tension then the community not showing as much excitement as they were for putting it out. So further releases are usually further apart and less, and lack that same initial excitement factor you see in big mods like dystopia back in the day or even Insurgency. Anyways keep supporting mods, I know moddb has been a little less active in that field as of late but don't give up hope on fellow developers!
Ah yah, ignore all that stuff, meant to just show new inventory allowing all different sized items and dual wielding. The impacts are still heavily testing just showing materials. Sorry didn't specify much on the video, it was a bit spontaneous.
Ya I'm sorry about that, its usually a stream of consciousness at an unregulated speed. I'll try to slow it down a bit next time but can't make any promises.
Thanks guys, I know some other people thought the "Resident Evil"-esque camera system made the gameplay possibly dated, however if you notice FPS is still in use in a different form, and it supports every camera style imaginable, the only one missing right now is the "camera on rails" allowing to interpolate between different points in the map and slow panning cameras (personally not added because I find them really annoying in silent hill and other games using them).
