"Wretched" is an upcoming adventure / horror indie game set in a semi-open sci-fi environment.
The game will feature -
- A 1-2 hours long single-player campaign
- Peculiar minimalist / futuristic visual style
- Large open areas for the player to explore freely
- Ethereal / surreal atmosphere
- Gameplay focused on exploration and puzzle solving (as well as some platforming sequences)
- Immersive cinematic OST
- Simple / accessible gameplay mechanics
- Meticulous sound design / sfx
- Horror elements applied through slow tension building, with no reliance on jump scares at all
- Well optimized graphics, will run and look good even in mid to low-end modern computers
Story (more info will be added soon)-
- The game is set in the year 2196. You'll play as a convicted criminal who has been selected from thousands of others to test a new government experiment. You were put in a temporary coma while your subconscious is trapped in a simulated world created by a team composed of some of the world's leading programmers. Your main objective in this experiment is to hunt down an artificial intelligence known as the "Wretched" who is making changes to the program's code. Initially looking to complete your mission as soon as possible, you soon realize that nothing is quite what it seems...
Hello watchers and thanks for the interest and support you have given to "Wretched" so far.
I must announce, however, that development for this project has now stopped and will remain this way for an indefinate period of time. I'm currently working on a lot of stuff at the same time and, as I'm having ever less free time to spend, I'm sure that I'm currently not able to dedicate the effort needed to make this game work as it should.
In the meantime, you might consider checking out a new simple adventure / platforming game that I'm developing, Curse of Light, whose concept I think will be much easier for me to achieve in a near future. My other game project is Kyohi and, although also currently on hiatus, it's my priority after finishing "Curse of Light".

Major changes have occured with "Wretched"'s visual style and setting since the last dev blog. It's now time to share what's new in the game.
After a nearly 5 months long hiatus, I finally have some news to share about the development of "Wretched".
Almost half a month has passed since the development for "Wretched" started, it is now time to release the first info related to the game's plot.
I've been hard at work on "Wretched" lately, and it's about time that I share all that I've done so far!
