I think it can be hard to fully explain where a game is going in its development cycle, especially in a blog format. Sure, I can write about how two new enemy types have been added to the game, or I can post a screenshot that shows the new shotgun weapon in action, but that just isn't good enough for me.
I want people to be able to see what direction the game is taking, and I want them to see it as early as possible. With that in mind, the second public alpha build of Silent Station: Screaming in a Vacuum is available to be played on the development website (link).
I'm hoping that by releasing these alpha builds into the wild, people will have an easier time understanding what it is I'm trying to do with this game. I'm not being totally altruistic however, I'm also using this public alpha test as a way to get free QA services out of people.
So go play my game and tell me about it (and better yet, tell your friends about it).
