PAGE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION DUE TO NAME CHANGE AND ENGINE SWITCH.
Modern Combat is currently under development by the ShellShock Entertainment team and uses the Unity game engine.
It will feature a single player campaign and multi-player that involves classes with unique weapons, stats, and roles.
Here's a preview of our current HUD (Heads Up Display).
All displays shown are fully functional. The missing displays soon to be added are armor, game mode specific indicators/counters, and the score board. We currently do not plan for any radar or minimap displays.
Here's a preview of the "Weapon Screen" which will be accessible from the Main menu. This screen allows layers to view every weapon in the game and its stats.
The upcoming alpha release (no set date yet) will feature a small portion of the weapons to be in the final version and some of the classes.
I plan to have two choices for every weapon type (Assault rifle, SMG, etc.)

Modern Combat Update involving greatly improved projectiles, new effects, a new feature called "Control Limits" relating to performance issues, and new...
The PC version of the former "Urban Wars" now "Modern Combat" is making a switch to use Unity engine.
Because the name "Urban Wars" limits us to Urban environments for our maps, we have decided to change the game's name to something new. We are asking...
A preview of Urban War's attachments for it's various weapons.
I never play PC games, but once this is released, I'm gonna have to. It looks so... Epic! And what's more? Duke is the head of development! :D
This game is still alive right?
>.< are you did or alive
Post a fricken update
Sorry i didnt relise it got updated 2 days ago but still update the main page god damit
is it supposed to look cartoony?
if it does keep it like that because there aren't many first person shooters in a cartoon style(the only one l can think of is TF2)
this isnt cartoony looking. and will this lag on my 1.10.5 leopard macbook? it runs some games well.
A shame it won't be on the PSP. I was looking foward to a quality FPS on the console. Can't bitch and complain though. At least this indie isn't dead.
In the end run being just PC gives them a wider range of freedom to make a good game
and nobody cares about the PSP
this looks interesting :D
