The Game
Players take the role of mages called Mana Lords who can channel the chaos that ravages the world, and use it to build units.
The key concept of the game is that rifts into chaos open randomly around the world. When one does, various Mana Lords rush to enter the rift to harvest chaos, which is used as a power source by the various societies. Each match between players is the competition for one such rift.
Nothing can be brought into a rift, as the chaos destroys it. Only the Mana Lords can enter. Once inside, they use their abilities to construct units and bridges to reach various parts of the rift where they can harvest the chaos. They attack other Mana Lords units and defend their territory.
Once the chaos inside a rift has been exhausted, it closes, and the Mana Lords exit.
