tinyurl.com/GuncraftKickstarter to see the Kickstarter
We have FOUR brand new weapons that only Kickstarter backers will be able to obtain. These weapons will bring forth devastation upon your enemies and really expand upon the plethora of weapons available to you already.
(pictured weapons are in order from right to left)
$25+ Rewards get the REVOLVER: Dirty Harry approved, this bad boy, as a secondary weapon, will tear through blocks and players alike.
$65+ Rewards get the AK-1337: Classic in design, deadly in implementation. This assault rifle may be less accurate, but it is also much more powerful.
$90+ Rewards get the RCP-9000: The favored SMG of a certain spy in a 64 bit adventure, this gun rivals that of any assault rifle. High accuracy, large clip size, and a blazing fast firing rate are all key ingredients to the destruction of your enemies.
$150+ Rewards get the BEAM SABER: This is the only futuristic weapon that will ever see the light of day in Guncraft. Burn holes in your opponents and dice them into tiny blocks with this new melee weapon.

See you on the battlefield!
whats with all the gaycraft clones
^Because it sells with the teeny boppers. Smart way to make money if you ask me :\
And the best is that it is very easy to modify
Wow, what the ****. Way to be subtle about it.
EDIT: Oh I see what you are trying to say. Yeah I suppose we shouldn't have worded it like that lol.
Honestly, we just want our backers to feel special for helping us out in such an early stage. That's what I meant to convey in that sentence (Marketing is obviously not my strong suit lol).
what sparing gameplay there is doesn't look good. I usually don't like to compare, but this doesn't hold a candle to Ace of Spades. An uninspired cash-in.
We will have a better gameplay trailer next week.
I was gonna post some snarky remark about how soul-suckingly derivative this all looks, but upon reflection - it's probably exactly what the fans of COD and Minecraft would buy. Milk 'em good, Exato.
You use Kickstarter to sell your game, not the 'what you'll get when you donate'. That is secondary. Its REALLY bad form to upfront state what you get if you donate.
We are just offering more bonuses for people who pledge, is that really such a bad thing? You'd think people would appreciate that.
its also bad to be offering DLCs when the core product isn't even finished. I understand you're offering them as rewards for donating but you could've done this without taking away content from other users.
Don't worry. There will be lots of content for the users. We aren't trying to lessen the experience for people.
Nah, this is pretty much normal. You shouldn't blame 'em. Most indie games do this atm. Imho, they did the right thing.
Although you guys farked up one thing: Kickstarter doesn't let you keep the money if you fail to meet the goal. Should have gone with indiegogo instead, so that you still get to keep the money, and the users still feel that this is something that's gonna be finished.
We are still pretty confident that we'll make our goal. We have a lot of stuff we plan on doing between now and when it's over that will HOPEFULLY generate some more hype heh.
My main issue with your "product" is that there doesn't seem to be one.
Yeah, nice blocks and all, but you can't fail to notice that your previous trailer was just animations in front of screencaps from what I'm guessing is Minecraft with custom textures.
Yeah, marketing, as the guy mentioned earlier, isn't their strong point (pm me if you need any help darknuke, <- blatant self advertising >:D ) but if you check out their other videos, you can get a glimpse of the working game.
But yeah, you guys should have released some solid footage already, that's one of the reasons your kickstarter didn't get as many backings as it should have. When you do that, you'll probably double the amount of backers.
I dont understand why no one likes this game I actually injoy it (Ive played it) Its not like minecraft or ace of spades ether. its a fun shoot em up.In fact I'm looking forward to the completion of this game.
Some more guns maybe a leveling system and then a new hit steam game maybe... Never know but anyways People dont rag on a game you've never played thats how terraia got its start.
