Freja is a first-person psychological thriller about exploration, immersion and discovery.

A thrilling experience about confronting your inner demons.

Explore the remnants of an old high school as you help a woman with PTSD and selective amnesia, puzzle together her traumatic past.

Freja features the unique concept of integrating arcade games into the story. Instead of merely reading notes to remember what happened, players must instead uncover the truth through various oldschool minigames.

Survive the dangers lurking around the shadows by staying on your toes.

Play several minigames to learn about the past. A different approach to the horror genre.

Hey horror enthusiasts! Hope you had a good easter.
Here are the latest news about Freja.

What has been done since last update
- Worked further with the story and one of the minigames
- Designed the final area before the epilogue sequence will begin
- Fixed a sound related issue with one of the enemies
- Fixed the reported mouse cursor not getting locked on the game window issue
- Created more events around the levels
- New soundtracks and more soundeffects added

One thing we noticed in some of the gameplay videos was the effectiveness of soundeffects playing in the levels, so that is something we are definitely keeping!

What to do moving forward
Apart from finishing the last bits of the game, we also need to see what we can do to improve performance in each level. We know of a few ways to do this already, but we are doing that last since each level is still getting updated every now and then, so doing a lot of performance improvements now means we may have to do it all over again if we update the levels too much in the future.

As a final note, we have been invited to present Freja at a local gaming event in May . May show some photos from the event when that day comes.
