A major milestone has been reached with the in-game level editor. You can now create your own missions using Conditions and Actions to create interesting and dynamic unfolding adventures for you and your friends.
To show what the in-game level editor is capable of I have loosely re-created a couple of missions from my favourite space combat action game, Wing Commander.
Enyo 1 Reenactment
This is the first mission you fly in Wing Commander. You fly a 3 point patrol, encounter 2 types of opponent ships and navigate an asteroid field.
Conditional Actions are used to ensure players fly to the highlighted navpoints and eliminate opponents before being allowed to autopilot to the next navpoint.
Enyo 2 Reenactment
The second mission you fly is a transport escort. Keep the transport safe as it makes it's way to it's destination.
Conditional Actions are used to guide the player's actions, direct the transport, and end the mission in failure if the transport is destroyed.
