Grinding Gear Games (GGG) was founded in 2006 by four people whom wanted to create a game they loved to play, which others would love to play. Grinding Gear Games has grown since then and now employs 18 people with unique passions and areas of expertise that form a dedicated and creative team. The product of this powerful collaboration is Path of Exile, a gritty, in-depth, Action Role Playing Game that focuses on fast paced combat and in-depth character development which should release late 2012/early 2013 and will be completely free to download and play, but not pay-to-win.
