For this update, I added a few new props to Overgrowth (which you can preorder here). It's been a while since the last video update. There are a few reasons for the delay. First, I've been working hard on some things I am not really ready to show yet, like pages for the next comic update. Also, I took some time to study graphic design and a new shading style for my concept art.
Be sure to watch it in HD!
I think the time away from production is paying off. I'm better understanding some of the basic ideas for graphic design, which I'll need for our user interface, and you can check out the shading on my new rabbit armor concept and let me know what you think!
I may still make my concession stand for the arena shops if I get time, but in the coming weeks I'd like to focus on less-mundane assets, like new characters.
You can get a wallpaper sized version of the rabbit armor concept here!

love the basket armor concept, also the wip stuff for user interfaces and the props, props can't be boring ever btw. ;)
A project developed by dedicated and ambitious individuals who are creating their dream universe... well your going to get great results. I cant wait :)
Nice! Details like those baskets really help flesh-out the world.
very nice :D
Baskets are not boring.
They are badass.
Yeah, and think about it... What if you were pinned by a bunch of Rabbits... Baskets can be used as a Shield... And to blind them...
You can stick a basket into a attacker's sword to prevent him from using it properly (or even swing it properly).
You can't do this with wood, stone, branches, etc... Just crafted fabrics and such.
basket armor looks nice, waht about a mixed up version including some wood?
Can you try making the wood behind the decals brighter like Birch, and make the planks wider, just to experiment a little.
Anyway looking good, as always!
That first sign is awesome! I personally think the design is wonderfully original. Don't be so hard on yourself, although that's always easier said than done.
Love the decals. Just one thing - is it possible to make them dark in the places, where the wooden boards are sticking? It would made them a lot more realistic, because there are now looking a bit like they were in the air. Maybe adding a litle transparency would help
Basket armor ftw.
i actually kinda liked the second one, you shouldn't abandon it but use it as decorative wallpaintings. To add a bit variety to the more straightforward/ergonomical third design a by adding a bit more homely designs that don't actively have to serve a purpose.
This would create a more immersive personal connections to citys/buildings and will avoid structures to look too sterile
i hope you can understand anything from my unintelligable blabbering
