This has been a busy week! We've moved to our new office, it looks great but is still far from finished. We were still able to squeeze in some work on Minecraft, so here's the new snapshot:
-You can now use “/publish” to open your single-player game for LAN friends to join. This is still very much work in progress, so it lacks some necessary settings such as what game mode your friends will get, and if they should be able to use cheats or not. Also, the “/publish” command is temporary, you can't even access it if you haven't enabled cheats =)
-The Ender Chest has been changed to have an inventory per player and not per world. Also, knocking down the chest will break it into 8 obsidian, unless you have Silk Touch.
-The texture pack folder button now works on Mac
-A lot of smaller changes and fixes

Server: Assets.minecraft.net (or EXE)

I like the idea of "/publish" :) Keep up the good work mojang :D
I think it a good idea too.
I think it would be cool to have a GUI to mess with the server settings instead of commands, it would make it alot easier. (In game gui)
'A lot of smaller changes and fixes' I'm getting sick of seeing that in every snapshot... it really doesn't make up for anything:3
If an enderchest has an inventory per player, then cross world access to items is happening..? Do I understand that correctly?
Before it was: 1 enderchest inventory per world - so everybody on the same world would be sharing an enderchest inventory.
Now (at least to my understanding) it is 1 enderchest inventory per player per world - so people on the same world each get their own cloud inventory, and that inventory is still exclusive to that world (no cross-world access).
Well its nice to have your own personal enderchest now, but I do wish there was some type of item in the recipe that would allow item sharing/make your chest global.
