Good to know about the optimization as well, my laptop can run it but it doesn't run as smoothly because of all the effects(probably), I will see if I can set it to lower as well.
EDIT:Well I finished it, my one complaint would be that it's hard to make out what's happening while fighting in the darkness even if you have a flashlight.
Other 2 minor complains would be the creatures being stuck trying to follow me,sometimes ignoring soldiers and that the demo is a little short.
I usually really hate miniguns in games because it ruins your mobility but this one was very fun to use and very useful for crowds.

I did see the physics, they look pretty damn good, I don't remember seeing something so dynamic in another shooter.Though there probably is.

When I first read the title, I thought you were making a half life styled STALKER.

Let me tell you of my first experiences with this mod...
Oh boy.
When I started I first choose to be a loner, and it spawned me alone in the middle of outskirts, some zombies there some dogs there.
Nothing too dangerous except for losing half my health to a pseudodog and having to use my only medkit.I try to get to pripyat, can't due to psy ops.
I search around the internet and find out my only way around is trough jupiter underground...I kill an entire army of zombies that was just waiting there.Thank god zombies are so stupid.I search around find a poison anomaly tunnel but I did not know how to get trough it, died a few times.Went back,found nothing then went to the poison tunnel only for a snork to spawn,give me a heart attack and kill me in 2 swipes...
Loaded a save it wasn't there anymore.Eventually managed to find a way trough the poison tunnel, found a large area, went up a ladder to survey it in peace...
...I look to the left...there's about a dozen Snorks guarding the only place I'm supposed to go.I'm thinking I must be safe up the ladder, but to my surprise one literary leaps up to me and kills me...Did I forgot to mention they die from 4 shotgun blasts and I only had 16 shells?I used some of them on the zombies.
I drink my energy drink, and run trough them until they eventually lose me,but I have to kill one that spawns up ahead, dying quite a few times to them.
Ahead I find some anomalies,rats and 2 snorks waiting to ambush me...after a lot of resets I manage to kill them figuring out a better strategy, don't know where to go from there, and very low on health. I save,search around the internet and I figured out the door next to the elevator leads me to jupiter.
Load back, my health going down for some reason when staying in certain areas..already with 25% percent left..and a burer spawning right behind me.I manage to rush out the door, kill a zombie outside with a knife and go straight to the freedoom base...where my characters is coughing,very wounded and iradiated straight to the god damn doctor I go...he asks me to pay him about more than half my money.Lucky I sold some snork parts and ammo afterwards,but....
Seriously what the **** this was just the first 2 hours, you know this was pretty intense and nice but if the whole game is gonna be like this every second, I don't think I have the heart for it.
No hate just wanted to share my first experience, I kinda liked it but it was also frustrating as all hell.

I'm gonna assume the main character is not a normal human anymore that's why he can compete with trained soldiers and also why he can turn invisible and have good reflexes.(slow motion)
I can already guess he's probably been kidnapped and experimented on.
EDIT:Maybe you can keep the trepang name and say they have been used for scientific experiments when some new-enzyme-scientific-******** has been discovered in them.Just a fun idea lol...Call it "Attack of the Trepangs!"
Ehh, trust me I doubt people will be complaining about a single month.Some games don't have updates for 6 months and few people complain.I mean not "few" but you know, this is the internet.
Could mounting zombie edition be possible?The features in that mod are amazing.

EDIT:Of course their gonna make it, it's part of the original game after all.Though whether the models and animations were made or not is not disclosed,they will probably keep bosses of that caliber as a surprise.
