Sorry but i cannot access that website. Look under the settings tab of the DCG menu where you can hit the extract maps button. The top two lines define where the game files are and were DCG is on your harddrive. Then when you click extract, DCG uses those to locations to move the files. Make sure they are both correct.
When you successfully extracted the maps, which directory did they extract to?
Your screenshot shows that you have AS2 installed in an unusually location on your harddrive. AS2 is typically in the steam/common folder, and DCG defaults to extract maps to this location as well.
compatible with multiplayer? I thought MP was dead since game spy went down for MoW?
Just posted an update for Realism to 4.5. Should be compatible with DCG 4.5 for Men of War (not for Assault Squad Games).
Check it out here.. Moddb.com
Through the steam discussion forums for AS2
Should be able to
point ceiling? Maximum # of points you can have "in the bank".
Procurement points are hard coded in the exe but you can enable "easy start" in the dcg options to give you extra points.
Sorry, but this is not possible. This is a common complaint with the men of war series and has nothing to do with DCG.
Very nice... faithful to the RO2 map.
What version are you playing? vMoW or As2? Also, do you have the "hard start" option checked in the campaign.exe settings?
I sent you a PM through Moddb... did those instructions help?
It is broken in both. AS2 is broken because the November patch changed the way the inventory system is saved. The campaign.exe was changed to help fix a crash caused by this. That way it can still be played but with out looting.
Looks like the campaign.exe fix for AS2 was accidentally added to the vMoW release version. Jason will be release a hotfix in January to revert the vMoW version.
Uh, it should work for the most part. I haven't tested it, as I've moved to working on the AS2 Unit Pack. Give it a go and let me know if you run into any issues. I'll try to update it if there are problems and I have the time.
Thanks :)
Thanks for the interest! We are addressing a few new bugs that have popped up in the program. They should be resolved soon.
The main thing is we are completely redoing all the infantry and squads to take advantage of the new in-game veterancy system that AS2 provides. This is a long process as DCG covers many nations, time periods and theaters of war and we want to stay as accurate as possible.
We're starting this process in the Pacific where the US and UK have no real "Pacific" themed squads/soldiers. (They borrowed European infantry before). Fortunately, I have help with this and we have new human skins for the Pacific theater.
Are you using all the correct names for all the bones? Names are very important as there is functionality in game tied to many of the bone names.
If you still have the mission saved, load up the mission and save it again as result with the DCG program running in the background. It should start the "next mission" process over again for you.
In the settings.xml... change this line
<unitsbasemin>5</unitsbasemin>
Whatever # you put in that line is multiplied by 8. That is why the starting point is 40.
"Due to the changes in the new patch, all our modified breed files for the infantry in AS2, has become obsolete and needs to be reworked, that is, if the new veterancy addition shall work. And since this involve reworking thousands of breed files, we can't give any exact date for a release." - Zekewolff
Hi Decommanda,
You can create your own custom operations and place whatever maps in it you like. :)
Thanks for the heads up... will look into it for the AS2 release.
Watch the install tutorial videos here.. Moddb.com
I show how to install DCG into the steam version of Assault Squad 1.
you install Realism like any other mod. However, there is a correct order to enable the mods in your options menu. Make sure in enable DCG first, then Realism last.
It'll give that error if it was installed incorrectly. Try the install again and use the video instructions Moddb.com.
Also make sure you installed all the necessary 3rd party programs....
What game are these models coming from?
At this time we have No plans to do so. However that does not stop a 3rd party from making a Cold War mod compatible with DCG.
xmls are how units get into the dcg program for you to buy and the enemy to spawn with.
We do not support any 3rd party mods with DCG. You are on your own or could ask modern war creators for help.
Good Luck!
