Is there a way to change the bot names, the models they use, and how many bots spawn? I guess I am looking for a config file.
These bots are great! Keep up the good work! I hope to see them simply learn maps and create their own way points like jkbotti and parabot.

I have tried everything. Unfortunately, it will not work. It is strange. Regular patched Quake 2 runs perfectly fine. I can replace textures and models and it will run fine as well. It must have something to do with my computer. I can recent games on medium settings.

What is the proper way to install this beta? It looks incredible.
What is the proper way to install this? I assumed I simply extract all the files to my steam Quake 2 folder and overwrite any files that are in that folder. Is this correct? I tried this and nothing happens when I try to start the game.

Info_texlights had conflicts. Utilized lights.rad for compile and then map ran fine
I think my issue has something to do with the entity info_textlights because the error loading the map always references a texture from that list in the entity.
Can Xash3d run custom half-life multiplayer maps? I tried to load some from console and I keep errors that appear to be related to textures.
I know it is probably impossible but based on there being no servers running XDM, is there a way to make this new version run as metamod plugin or amxmodx plugin? Making it possible for servers to show up in the normal server list and players to join without having the mod, etc.Would not be worth it if CTF didn't work though.
My basic teleport trap doesn't seem to work for XDM. I use it all the time for regular HLDM without issues. Basically, you press a button to trigger a trigger_teleport and uses a multisource and a multimanager. In XDM, the same setup teleports whoever clicks on the button regardless of whether or not you are touching the triger_teleport or not. I found it very weird that I could be teleported without touching a trigger_teleport.
In my example map, hit the big red button, wait for it to go down and then if you are standing on the other side of the line, you should be teleported. In regualr HLDM, it works like normal. You won't be teleported unless you are touching the trigger on the other side of the line. In XDM, it doesn't matter where you are.
What am I doing wrong? I see that there are more options in the trigger_teleport entity for XDM but I have no idea how to use them properly.

Agreed, probably nothing. It is hitting on the file Maps\tools\Power Tools\textract.exe

To add bots you have to make an edit in the liblist.gam file to change to the dll that supports the bots. There is a not in the liblist.gam file about it. Open it with a text editor.
I'm going to start with multi-player and then definitely work on something single player

You are welcome. Truly is an epic creation and I am looking forward to making maps for it. I look forward to more guidance on the entities. I've never worked with SoHL... so I have no idea what that had to offer or what "operators (like +targetname, -, !, etc. - like in SoHL), some spawnflags and script-like #commands" are.
Very cool! I think I am going to make some maps for this mod. It looks like there is a ton of cool things that can be done with the new entities. I just don't understand all of the new options available for entities... specifically multi-managers. Wish there was some instructions regarding the new entities and the additional options to existing/updated ones.
