Closed captions should be working correctly (last I checked at least), but unfortunately you have to be quite close to the person talking to hear what they're saying. Sometimes though closed captions won't register properly, especially when a lot of people are talking at the same time.

Sorry, no ETA. As I wrote elsewhere, we are still working hard on MISERY 2.2 (to give you a clear picture, we had 27 internal patches in a little less than two months). It's just that we're not committing to any specific release date; when we have something solid - a stable and finished release candidate - M2.2 is going to see the light of day. No sooner than that.
I second that - it would be great to get Wormwood even as modder's resource pack.
Have you managed to work around tracer effects? They look seriously weird for me and instantly break immersion.
You drop them in gamedata folder (in my case: C:\Gry\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Chernobyl\gamedata).
You only need this file (and optionally any addons you deem necessary) - just downloaded and checked. :)

Thanks for this! Unfortunately I can’t speak Russian and google translate isn’t making understanding it any easier, so could you tell me which features of MISERY are used in this add-on for SGM?
Yup, MISERY boasts its own special version of Atmosfear. However, we have disabled both psi storms and fallouts because they were messing with the game. The AI is so sophisticated in MISERY that adding more scripts would make NPCs go bananas.

I found this more too Russian to be playable (i.e. lots of really good ideas intertwined with some mediocre stuff, but all of this is lost in simply horrid quests, plot structure and design decisions), but to each their own.
The link you've posted has the definitive version of English translation, so I imagine AA2 should be compatible with it if it works well with the Polish localization.

Delete user.ltx that should be somewhere in C:\Users\Public\Documents\stalkercop.
This will revert all seting to their default values, so you'll then have to set them manually once again.
I feel for you guys and was extremely sorry to hear this. Stay strong and don't give up - you still have and will always have a multitide of fans and devoted supporters who will thank you properly for all the effort and hard work you've put into this.
