I've been working with Photoshop since CS1, and have a decent feel for what I can and can't do with it. I'm a big fan of Valve, Activision-Blizzard, Bethesda, and id Software. Add me on Steam if I know you, or you know me.
Season One of the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse arrived from Amazon.com today. I know I'm quite far behind, seeing as Season Three has already been released; but I plan to own the entire series eventually.
The bit of the series I've experienced so far can can only be described with two words: Brutally Awesome. Massive amounts of gore and dark comedy, combined with excellent music make this one of the best shows I've ever watched.
If you're a fan of metal, you'd be insane not to go pick this up.
Well, not too long ago I created a texture update for a brilliant Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion mod by VipCxj on the Elder Scrolls files site TESNexus.
His mod adds a Radar system to Oblivion so that the player won't get ambushed by enemies. The textures he used more resemble a modern radar system, and didn't fit with the medieval-fantasy style of Oblivion.
I took it upon myself to recreate the look of the interface to fit the game better. I believe it came out pretty good, but I'll let everyone else be the judge of that.
Here's a link to my mod.
Eventually I would like to see if both mods could be uploaded to ModDB to get more exposure.
