If my memory serves correctly I did suggest/try to transfer this into an Animated Star Wars group. Anyhow I don't think anyone would mind the change.

They are renaming it so that people will not think that everything that happened on Korriban has happend on Moraband. They won't be hindered by the EU. They can take from it though, like Darth Bane is now safe from getting removed from cannon.
Additionaly, in the trivia at Starwars.com it says that the planet is so acient it could be known by different names in different eras
I don't think so. The reason they changed the name is so that they won't be hindered by EU material. Quite frankly I think the KOTOR-TOR era is safe from the reboot because SWTOR is making money so it won't be cancelled any time soon.
Did I say I was against this?
I don't mind the small changes that the Clone Wars did.
And when Disney bought Lucasfilm and annonced new movies we knew the EU was going to be rebooted.
I don't need you to believe me, but I do like the EU. And I can still enjoy the books being in an "alternte timeline" if you will.
Cheer up. We love Star Wars, but is fiction.
Okay people the official trailer for the Lost Missions (on english) is here... Looks pretty awesome! Liam freaking Neeson!
The scene in the gif is when Jack and Elisabeth is stuck at the isle and she uses the rum to make a big fire signal
So now that it has gone some time what do you think of Project SWG? I can hardly wait for it to be complete
Oceania is coinsidered the continent.
Moddb is place for modding not fanbased groups. If you want image fun go on Tumblr
You know... I had read and bought many Clone Wars related comics and books before the show aired. I didn't mind. I still don't. They are there for fun. Really EU is just Lucasfilm published fan-fiction. It doesn't come from GL or now, the story group. At least he was involved in the story proscess for the Clone Wars. This was his clone wars. He often came up with ideas and had someone else write it.
That is Mark Gatiss actor of Mycroft Holmes as well as co-creator/writer of Sherlock
If only the Disney sale was a couple of months later...
For whatever you want to use it for...
I chated a bit with someone yesterday whom want to see the Hobbit but still hasn't gone... So I sent them this.
Just makes it more fun that it's Freeman that plays Bilbo.
Star Trek has 3 timelines, the old, the JJ and the books.
Superheroes have multiple universes.
I've read and own a lot of Star Wars books and comics and I still think they are fun even though I'm sure they are not going to fit with the new movies.
We do know they will not adapt the books and comics. They will be original stories. I'm willing to bet you that if Ep7 does happen around the time "Fate of the Jedi" books are, they are going to be completely overwritten and Chewie is alive.
There is no need for more groups. I am personally a big fan of Star Wars and is a member of multiple of those groups the only result they get are less activity than if it was just one and childiss bickering inbetween them.
Activity however comes on the members... When did you do something in this group last?
From the Vector cross-over huh? Yes, I believe the Vader part of it was shortley after Ep3.
Yeah, the comics and books are fun! However it is important that they are there just for fun. Remember not to go to the dark side and full your heart of hate for "TCW" for changing the timeline... Ohh if you do you'll go insane over the new movies...
I don't get why people complain or have to comment that it is old. It can still be fun...
Heh, I am going to bet that the EU is going in the Star Trek direction... Star Trek used to have cannon books etc, but now they are there just for fun no cannon at all.
As you pleasure in saying Delta the new Clone Wars did change stuff. If you though that was dramatic, ohhh just wait on all the new movies.
Nice article though Delta.
Heh, I did think of all those points myself. It's complicated, huh? Well that's what geeks do! :)
My explanation is what I wrote. They don't want a huge land presence. Sure we have submarines, but what are they mainly associated with? War.
Gungans helped out in the opening of season four, that was underwater. All other fights have been on Naboo so they aren't really the big warrior race.
Rish Loo (in season four's "Shadow Warrior" used a speeder though.
I see you have JFK's official presidential portraint as an avatar... Respect, you're a good guy
Well I suppose since the gungans prefer to be underwater and they are not planning to conquer anyone. They neither need or want a land army or cities.
Yes, imagen such a place... Where women makes sense. Although longterm would it be good or bad?
