NVidia because until the HBM cards release, at the price points I care about (AMD's 290X/NVidia's 970), NVidia dominates in price vs performance. Also, NVidia is, as far as I can tell, looking at 3D memory after Pascal's adoption of HBM with Volta. AMD hasn't made any commitment to shifting from 2.5D to 3D - though for all we know, they could both be just as close, so this is a very tenuous reason.
