Creating a Turn-Based RPG and looking for an artist:

I will divide this post in two sections, first section talking about the game and second section talking about the requirements for the artist I need.

Creating a Turn-Based RPG:

Staring in August 2023, I initiated the development of this project. With an inspiration in game such as Undertale, Earthbound and Final Fantasy (I-VI); novels such as Mistborn series, The Black Company series, The Name of the Wind series and The Lord of the Ring; and Berserk. I decided to create a Turn-Based RPG with a combat style like Undertale.

Through those month I learnt new things with Unity and, at this point I have finished the Combat System and the Dialogue System, it was hard, but with time and dedication I did it. Now, I want to do the first boss battle adding cutscenes, animations and dialogues while you are in combat, to feel more interesting those combats and add more lore. Also, I am thinking to do an Inventory System to fill up with food and drinks to recover while you are in combat (but I do not feel it necessary, because when you level up your life goes up too and enemies may not do more than 1hp per "bullet". Help me to decide!).

So I talk about the core and mechanics but, what about music?

Well, music will be inspired in a lot of game soundtracks, bands and classic pieces. For example, I know one of the piece I want to be inspired to add, and it is "Slave Knight Gael" piece from Dark Souls III. This sheet will sound in one of the first scenes. I can not talk more about music because I do not have too much to talk yet.

Well, it is time to talk about art. The game will be pixel art with dark tones. It will have its own style and I want to see a good artist that could do what I want for this. So...

I need an artist:

Yes, I need an artist but not to do sprite sheets now, I want an artist to do the backgrounds for the Main Menu.

The images (2 backgrounds at 1920x1080px) should be able to connect. To further explain what I mean by "connect", it's to do something similar to what Baldur's Gate 3 does in its menu: It has a screen where you press a button with a background and when you press it, it takes you to the main menu where all the buttons are for interacting through a downward transition. I have attached a video to better illustrate this. (Video). As I mentioned, I want to do something similar, but with the images I will send to your DM or Email (in the case you want to work with me).

Regarding the style, I want it to be anime and with a dark fantasy tone. I do not want it to be pixel art, I want it to be in your artistic style.
