That was an awesome video, you guys are media masters (not to mention great mappers!)
Looks great, worlds different from the original Half Life
Downloaded, too tired tonight, but can't wait to play tomorrow!
The laser room was kinda confusing, but I enjoyed it. keep up the good work, looking to Alive and Kicking!
Looks fantastic. So you guys are putting the smashed up look in the challenge chambers, huh? That's very clever.
Jordan! It's Moldorma from ZFGC. I saw your mug on the front page and I had to click in here. <tracked> <voted>
There really are no good iPhone sites, but its fine really. I think ModDB and IndieDB is probably enough sites. ;)
I love it, but I just can't put this together. When facing three of the four cardinal directions I get normal framerates but when facing the fourth the game becomes abysmally slow. It doesn't matter if there's a jungle full of dinosaurs or a single polygon stone wall in that direction, but it's always that specific direction. I can run Half Life 2 ep 2 and other mods with fine framerates, and I even turned all of the settings to the lowest possible, but it makes no difference. This is a very saddening turn of events for me when this appears to be such an awesome mod.
Yeah, call it Unreal SDK. That'd be a more standard sounding name.
Nope because Unity has been my engine of choice for the past two years.
Let me just add that I really like your mods, and I look forward eagerly t HMS Defiance 3. That ending was just too awesome. :D
I haven't played the old version, however I loaded a map which I believe is from the older version, and I have to say that you couldn't be more wrong. Once you master the controls of PSCv2 it's effortless and exciting to skate around the masterfully designed New Okio.
Give it a chance!
Okay, the fifth stride appeared, and I saved my game. Then later when I reloaded the save, the stride has vanished, but it acts like the game's still in stride mode (all the blue blocks are gone). What do I do?
Just after I posted that comment I went back and beat the second stride. Now I'm stuck on the third. :P They're hard, but definitely doable.
I think that doing the Perfect Strides should be a little more lenient. I've done the second New Okio stride about a dozen times, and it still won't say "Stride Mastered". Unless there's something I'm missing here, in which case the game could stand to be a little more well documented anyways. Like, having a narrated training level that explains how to play and what Perfect Strides are and stuff.
Nevertheless, this game is an excellent mod, and I really enjoy the unique play style. Keep up the good work!
