I am in the middle of my thirties. Still happily engaged to the same woman I was engaged to five years ago. I am an artist by heart, as is my girlfriend. I've spent my whole life taking machines apart and putting them back together. And besides the piano and guitar, the instrument I've spent the most time with is the sampler. Got my first sampler in the end of the eighties. Go do the math :-) And I've always enjoyed coding. My stepfather was a "data"-teacher for college students, and spent quite some time making me understand the way to code. Languages has changed since then, but the theory is still the same. So I am hacking away on the keyboard in the late evening hours. Making games.

It's almost ready. I could've already published, but I really want my 1.0.1 update to go through at Apple App Store before I launch. And until Apple says go on that update, I can't really set a release date.

A few years ago I had no idea whatsoever that I would turn into an indie developer. Looking back, I think the 3D modelling school and the intensive work with photoshop every night could have been signs that I could've picked up on.
Now I am reading reference manuals and doing graphics from art, editing music and reading about the world of indidevelopers most days of the week.
I few years back I thought I would continue doing photography and that my world would never change. Well... something has happened, and it started with me playing indie games and thinking "I would've" and gradually evolving into a "I could've". Soon I'll be saying something along the lines "I did it like this".
