Hello arma squad - I have a starter pistol, 3 green chem lights and 8 fps - lets rock! frickendella!
Learning a new game editor has been a challenge over the Christmas holidays - still enjoying it for now ;)
Porting for MoWAS2 - this is my favourite level from the RGB canon to date. The tank battle from RGB Origins.
Yea - had AS2 for a few months now - been checking out how much code and entities I'll have to rewrite - no SP vision is a pain so I'll use MP and modify the vision stats. The whole RGB canon will probably get launched as a 'best of' bits for AS2 in a single mod at some time in the future.
Another time span level for RGB2 - repainted some vanilla skins for the WW1 soldiers and set the church as an artillery site. This level reveals why the dead woke in the very first RGB mission...No fixed cam this time round! ;)
Finally dressing out the city map for a multi-task mission :)
Tank follow cam in the MoWAS2 DLC? - check the date this vid was first posted! ;)
No - the code lines are from the RGB Mod scripts - this is a single mission you can apply to a map by cut and paste and some work in the GEM. The RCR is an in-mission randomising script not an external program like DCG. The RCR works with vanilla MoW.
Working on an RCR scripted infantry only defence mission that you will be able to import then tweak into a medium sized map to create your own maps and missions. There is a 20 minute video tutorial to explain what to do - but is aimed at the GEM map builders out there who want to add a mission but are unable to script. If you like the idea of a timed defence with teams and a.i. enemy of your choosing feedback some comments so I can decide whether to finish the build or not. The vid shows how to basic edit in the GEM as well as how to tweak mission and re-save maps...
Have a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
Got a PM about my old SHOWW2 work (I am no longer modding for Soldiers) so thought I'd re-up them again as all the old DMS links are long gone - Trublatt was the first outing for the RCR that I use in my MoW mods ;)
Yea - I played that game for hours until my old AMD chipset would alarm overheat (managed to win the racetrack level pre-patch - it took me all day!).
I know the feeling - but given a choice I would rather have a flawed classic like Mafia 2 or Saboteur that a team have put some real love into than a cash clone made to play once then throw away.
Thanks for your patience and support Bigfoot1 - I see you are one of RGB's long time followers from way back.
I'm glad you liked it - the scripting is what takes me the most time - but it is time well spent if the modding community enjoy playing the missions. I like to put a bit back in for all the great free mods I've played over the years - it's my way of saying thanks.
It's now available to download Moddb.com hope you enjoy it - useful feedback is welcome.
You can't even shoot the gas tank out - it's bulletproof!
The strange looking MGs are supposed to be static mount aircraft guns that the team have salvaged...no ammo box and shoulder firing! - tweaked the def file for a fire rate that will blow thru concrete...
Re done the tutorial after more testing - there is an extra line to add in the .mdl file which stops the game crashing when gunlights are shot out by enemies.
I would like to release a combined version for MoWAS - once all the MoW stuff is completed and released.

Scarborough holiday 1978 - Midway's 'Boot Hill' game was in one of the amusement arcades - my first taste of electronic gaming - I blew 3 weeks pocket money in an afternoon and have never regretted a penny of it since - from the speccy 48K to my quad core.
