Raid, you should post some news about the final release of the mod, so the whole modding community notices. Instead of only the people who have it on watch.

2.0 is comming very soon. I've tested the beta, we could release it now. I'm not sure what raidmax is doing, but let him finish it up. Its very cool.

Do you have a mac? lol, sometimes its that simple. Macs can't run .exe files.

Because macs are to "superior" to do something as simple as run a .exe file...

New protoss bases look very cool in game, new voices also awesome. Great work on improvements.

Major issues for fixing:

- Tank siege attack doesn't work at all, very cool animation, but it needs to deal damage =).
- Tank non-siege mode seems a bit excessively powerful, notch the base damage down by 2 until further testing.
- Dark archons and archons look exactly the same??? was that a mistake in pathing the files? Just turn archons back to how they looked in 1.9.

Minor issues:
- not sure about the new dragon attack, i really liked the previous one (i know, i know... i made it so of course i'm biased... but still, red flaming balls is cool)
- the effects of tempest storm are no longer red, i thought that was very cool. What happened?
- Supply depot no longer looks different, the new graphic was cool, you should keep it.
- I'm having trouble making Inferno troopers useful in combat, the attack just isn't very good. Raise base damage from 14 (7by7) to 16 (8by8). Then raise the mineral cost by +5 (75 to 80 i think)

OK very very cool though. The new beta is sweet all around.
If possible you should try to fix these issues (the major ones at least) fixed and get me a new copy by tommarrow. Because I'm going to be LANing with 10 other people. Perfect time to test out the game for more issues.

Hmmm, i like the buildings, except maybe the stargate, the colors are too messed up, it makes it look all pixilated. Maybe it is just the screenshot though.

The new portrait is my doing, that isn't new either. That change was in 1.9. And I like the new portraits and voices alot. Even if they are not "better", they are new. The point of a mod is to remix the game and make an old classic intresting again (not that starcraft will ever get old but you get my point).

Attacking CC might be cool, dono about nexus or shuttle. Funny though.

New background is sweet, new power plant is sweet. I don't fully understand where you are taking the concept however, and how its going to fit into the playability.

It is a cool idea though, to have buildings cost power. Just make sure you counterwieght it in some way, terran will need stat changes to rebalence everything in light of the new dynamic.

Send me a beta when you can and I'll try to find time to do some testing.

New gateway is beyond cool, very well done. the white buildings... hmmm. not sure what i think. I'd have to see them next to the other types of buildings before i decide. Cool stuff though. WHEN IS BETA?

I hurt my leg two days ago and am swamped by classes. This means raidmax will be working on the mod alone for a while. Please be patient with the release of 2.0. It will eventually come though. This mod is NOT dead.

Shadow oscar, why do you have four accounts on the hamachi server? There is a max account number, get rid of three of them or more people will be unable to join because the server is starting to have alot of names.

Mensk has a sex change an now looks like (non-infested) kerrigan? lol, i think i know how that happened but it is still funny.

Honestly, this program seems to be further from release every time i check its status. The maker won't give anyone a date, and i think he may have to high of expectations for it. I hope it gets out soon... but it may be a while. In the mean time, we are doing our best with the programs we have.

I agreed with you about a week ago, we have already rebalenced them.

Dude, I have no idea. Its on you and shadowoscar. If i'm going to put more effort into upgrades, it will be the mod itself. I just finished working on upgrades for about 2-5 hours a day for two weeks straight, the campaign is honestly the least on my mind. Right now, I'm looking into getting better AI for the game.

Sorry bro. Feel free to start building it yourself. I'll help edit when you get further along.

It might be of the following causes:

A) Are any of your origional starcraft files altered?? If you have an illegal version of the game, sometimes people don't know how to rip off a CD very well =) . Possibly try reinstalling starcraft.

B) Are you opening the mod right? After downloading, you simply double click the downloaded file. Alot of times people try to enter through the old Broodwars link. This will just load normal brood wars.

C) Have you somehow corrupted the mod files? Maybe try re-downloading the mod.

I hope some of this works. Otherwise I have no clue, the game works for everyone else i've talked too. GL!

You join my hamachi server: (see below for the info to join server) The join server button is the little triangle in the bottom right corner of hamachi.

You find me and ask me where you can get the newest version of beta, i'll message you it in a link. I will be logged in, but might not actually be there. I'll get your message when i'm back. (to message me you right click my name in hamachi and click chat).

We figure out a time to play. For the next two days, i'll be availible pretty much whenever.
