Unreal wasn't my favorite, just Unreal Tournament but definitely an HD pack is worth to see the game and see it through the quality that a 2020 PC can offer, thanks! :)

i never tried it before but perhaps you could do It the same way, in your shortcut you maybe you can include the path to the file, in the case this doesn't works there is another way:

in the gzdoom.ini configuration there is an option to autoload the most common wads you use instead of typing them, just type the filename of the wads inside the section named: [Global.Autoload] that should do the job and there is another section called [FileSearch.Directories] where you can specify all the folders where the program should search wad files.

If you have the wad file in the same folder as GZDoom use the parameter -file,your shortcut should look like this:

gzdoom -file "Doom Remake - The Metal Legacy - V1.3.wad"

note the quotes "" before and after the file name

Hello World! lol this is my first post at moddb and i´m just here (just at the moment, who knows later?) to publish a music mod for one of my favorite games EVER!, and this game is DOOM.

As a musician I had an idea to create a remake from the original MUS files from the Episode 1 (Knee Deep in the Dead) and exported them to MIDI and I customized and exported them into MP3 with real instrument samples to make the music look more real life and natural, no big changes on synths or special effect,like many mods I know there are and they sound awesome by the way!, I just wanted to make it sound the more original possible, no changes at all, trying to keep the original concept from the original creator untouched at it´s maximum possible, I just had kind of an idea like: What if Doom would sound if the game were made in 2020 with real audio samples?

The results were as I expected and It created that nostalgia effect like if you were listening the game music on a wavetable sound card like the AWE32 but with a boost on the metal guitar and bass sounds, better acoustics with a mix with orchestral instruments.

Give it a try and I will appreciate any feedback you can do about It and thanks for your time!, any comments will be welcomed, If I recieve enough feedback from It, of course I will continue to remake the music from the next episodes and Doom 2 :)

and what's the name of the MOD?, oohhh right!, the name is:
