The real time simulation component of blender is really outstanding.
I just did that now, its quite an improvement. I like the soft shadows too.
Yes, this game can run on most computers, just turn the graphics setting down.
really? perhaps its the vertex swimming of the .md2 models that are making them look low polygon on my computer. Never mind then, and keep the great work up!
This game is awesome! I'm downloading the svn version, i want to see all the improvements you guys have made.
I have one problem with the game though, the models are still using the polygon counts from the quake-2 days. Most computers can deal with 5k polygon counts for 3d models now, wouldn't it be good to upgrade some of the assets to make the game a little more visually appealing?

Wow, I've been doing some (crappy) mapping lately for HL2DM. This has inspired me to do much better :D and it's a window to what all the source mappers could, no, SHOULD be doing with their mapping! Excellent work, can't wait t play!
I'm not going to play the commercial one. Nexuiz is gpl, and more importantly is it's engine. Sure they can replace all the gpl textures and models made by the community, but don't they have to pay Id software to make the Darkplaces engine proprietary?
IMO Nexuiz 2.5.2 is the last version. Nexuiz is dead.

I wanted to do a stick figure like mod once, but I realized it would only look good with cartoon shading, which is not provided by the source engine as far as I know. It can be implemented by custom shaders, but I'm lazy that way i guess :P
If you know how to make shaders you could make this really good, but even if you don't I'll still watch the mod and see where it goes.
Really hard mod, it requires that you play and think a different way from other mods and even the original half life 2. I liked the new weapon models especially the rocket launcher. Overall 8/10
I would pay for this. Not very much, like 10-15 dollars at the most, but I would buy it. So epic, 10/10
This along with Minerva:metastasis are my favorite mods.
