I actually went ahead and tried it out a few minutes after posting my comment and it works perfectly, even with R+R's new color grading. The game looks fantastic!

This could be a stupid question, and I'm sorry for not looking at earlier questions for it, but... is the mod compatible with ENB?
What I mean is, I love Realism+Redux a lot but I'd like to try playing with CLEAN LIGHT ENB from Nexus. Would be a shame if the two had conflicts between each other.
Thanks for no useful information!
I reinstalled the game to check it out with my new GPU and was just wondering if there was a mod to upscale the UI. It looks incredibly awful by default, thank you for this!
You are AMAZING!
The latest IW4x update bugged the mod. Download this version instead:
It worked! It actually worked!
Try downloading the version that I'm about to link here. It worked for me.
The way I can get it to work is by installing it on the game's root mod folder and on the Plutonium folder.
I just tried this out and it doesn't work.
As the other two commenters have said, apparently the latest IW4x update broke the mod. I'll try reinstalling the entire game to see if it'll fix.
The XLabs Launcher has brought in more headaches than it has helped.
EDIT: Yep, reinstalled everything and the mod still doesn't work. Until a new update is released, it'll be unplayable. If you can avoid it, don't update your IW4x client.
If you're using WinRAR to open and edit the .iwd file, it automatically updates the file whenever you save bots.txt
Wonderful profile picture from a wonderful album :)
It's not properly installed. Re-install it, and if it doesn't work again, reinstall your MW2 and then the mod. Make sure you're using the right version.
The model on the Character Editor looks horrible, but in-game it's fine. Pretty good.
This map doesn't do anything special but it's by far one of my favorite custom maps. The rainy atmosphere really fits the game. Wish there were more like this!
Sorry for not replying! Never got your notification. I hope you're not having issues anymore. I don't know what's wrong. Where are you from? It could be that your keyboard is the problem. Make sure you're not using 5 from the numpad!
EDIT: Also, editing the keybind directly from the mod file could help!
Copy all of the contents of the file to the Mods folder. Launch IW4x and load up the mod manually from the "Mods" option in the main menu. Create a private match. Press '5' on your keyboard to open the menu.
The bot chatter is easily the best feature the mod has ever had. They are funny and it really feels like each bot has a personality during the chat. I have seen the feature be a little bit broken, though, such as bots calling themselves hackers or complaining about 1 deathstreaks. However, one might say it adds to the experience.
One big issue, though, is that based on my tests, the game now freezes randomly every once in a while for a few seconds before coming back. It started immediately after updating to this new version.
EDIT: I turned on V-Sync and disabled Steam Overlay and it fixed every issue I had.
The map can feel a little bit confusing at times, but it doesn't take away from how amazing it is. Easily one of the best custom maps for Mirror's Edge, ever. Great attention to detail, nice pacing, multiple approaches to every single area. It manages to make the linear structure of the OG Mirror's Edge feel like the open-ended design of Catalyst. It's a decent length, too.
9/10
The concept idea for the map is pretty cool. The execution is a bit shoddy in some places, though. There's a softlock if you die during the hallway fight, one of the vents is at a lethal height and you need to hang on to the ledge to just barely survive the drop, there are many dark spots where you can't see anything and the map often relies on platforming with dreadful hitboxes.
However, for one of the early Mirror's Edge maps, it's a fun experience. The stitching of old maps during the last stretch felt like a nice throwback, although you could feel the creator's creativity dying as he added too many elevator rides (specially the final two ones which are literally just fade-to-whites).
6/10
Soundtrack on this one was a banger. I like how there's multiple approaches to pretty much every part of the level, but it was too short. It's an 8/10.
The layout was a little bit confusing and the broken skybox made me a little sick at some points. Ropeburn at the end gave me quite the scare, though lol
A fun experience overall. 6/10
Default Combat Training is extremely limited. Bots are basic and you can only play FFA and TDM. This mod improves bot AI and adds all the other gamemodes.
Every version of Bot Warfare installs and works just fine. Except for CoD4, of course, which is a shitshow.
You download both CoD4x client & server, follow all the instructions, and nothing happens. At all. It would be so much easier if it was like literally every single other instance of Bot Warfare-- download, extract to "Mods" folder, launch in-game, done.
EDIT: I messed around for a bit and was able to solve the issues i had. Turns out instructions were lacking a pretty important detail. If you are having issues of being unable to spawn the bots or connect to your own server, do the following:
1) Install CoD4x client & server following the official instructions on the CoD4x website;
2) Download Bot Warfare for CoD4x & extract all the files to the root of your CoD4x Dedicated Server, EXCEPT for "z_playserver.bat";
3) Extract the "z_playserver" bat to the root of your CoD4 folder (Steam\SteamApps\Common\Call of Duty 4);
4) Open your CoD4x Dedicated Server folder and run "z_localserver.bat";
5) After the server has started running, go to your root CoD4 folder and run "z_playserver.bat".
The game should launch and you should automatically connect to the server. Then, open the bots menu by pressing your primary grenade + secondary grenade keys at the same time.
I'd love to see this happening. Good luck.
I love this mod, too bad it's dead (the community). I hope it gets alive once more when 2.0 is released.
I love this mod. Hope my shitasscrap PC will run the 2.0
