Is this mod still alive? just found out about it a couple days ago but servers are always empty and i can't figure if its still being developed :(

Really looking forward to this. Been hyped for quite some time for Hard-Life alone since it was the only promising upcoming hl mod i've looked into. But now this is an easy top for that list.

Hello guys. First off: absolutely fantastic mod. I've already played it three times in three different machines. Loved every bit and desperately waiting for the next episodes.

But, well, i'm having an issue downloading the mod again, since i've deleted the contents in my downloads folder. The issue here is that my download speed when using the MODDB servers is incredibly slow, so, is there any way you could upload a torrent of the mod so me and a lot more people with crappy third world internet could download this fantastic mod easily?

Something that often gets under the radar with BG and the Infinity Engine in general is its amazing immersive potential. Not just the atmospheric effects (which actually are pretty cool considering they're 3d accelerated via open-gl) but the sound design. If you haven't noticed yet please go back, reinstall BG and play it with headphones. You're into one hell of a ride and i can only think of a handful crpgs with such a spot on sound design approach.

Regarding performance... How well does it run? Any major issue with performance on lower end pc's? or higher than average HL hardware requeriments?

Does this mod diminish graphic fidelity? if so, in what way?

I was thinking the same! BHL integration with mods of this kind would be a killer combo of immersion. I'm hoping that for upcoming releases they think about it.

I find this incredibly interesting. AI is one of the most thought provoking aspects of the original HL and its rarely touched upon by modders most of the time. I'm glad someone finally goes a step beyond.

You got me the moment you addressed the importance of hand placed enemies for the construction of a natural pacing that if not the same as the original feels akin and exploitable via intelligent play.

Bought a phat ps2 couple of months ago. Been playing the crap outta it. I wasn't even loggin onto Steam since i lived and breathed PS2 CLASSIC LEGACY AAAAAAAAAAAAA. Nonetheless, i'm on quite a comeback. Played 4 HL mods the last 2 days, getting some practice in the art of the M O D R E V I E W .
