Hey there Addict!

This is looking like a really solid party game, I think the different clans you can race for will make a lot of interesting differences!

I hope this goes well!

Just played the demo and I really love the aesthetic! The PC controls are, not entirely wonderful, but that's a polish thing, it takes fine tuning but it's usually not too big of problem.

I did encounter one issue, the way you bring in the red orbs, the first one is off to the side where a player that just looks at the path you've set for them, won't see it until after they die at least once, I'd recommend moving it closer to the player's direct path, players are by nature stupid. You need to make them feel smart, but you can't rely on them to figure stuff out.

All in all though this is looking really good and I hope production is going well!

Hey CitizenPM, I'm really liking the combination of overseer of the tournaments/ a plant in the tournament to make sure the faction you favour wins! It sounds like it leads to a lot of interesting scenarios, can't wait to give it a shot!

I really like the aesthetic of this game, and I love how dynamic the strategy in it sounds, keeping the different Beastfolk happy sounds like it could lead to a lot of interesting dilemmas!

Oh really? That's exciting! So close. it always gets stressful over this part but stay strong!

Our dev team is in the same situation at the moment, we're scheduled to release next week and we found a whole bunch of new bugs, always a good thing right?

Hey Tired and Wired.

I just read through your blog and as a developer who plans to work with VR games in the future it has been super handy! I definitely hadn't considered how different story telling would be, which is a very useful aspect to consider.

All in all this article has a lot of handy tips and I hope your production in VR goes well for you!

Wow this definitely has a unique aesthetic amongst it's competitors, which I do mean as a good thing the low poly environment looks amazing! I also really like how simple the crafting system appears to be!

I just have a few questions about some mechanics (I know it's early days so you may not have ironed some of these out yet)

-Will the floatlands move or will they each have static positions to make it easier to get between them?

-What Survival aspects do you plan to have?

That's all for my questions, and congratulations on winning Best indie game of 2016 at SGC! I hope the projects continues as well for you as it has been so far!

Wow the mechanics in this look amazing! I really love what you've shown of light based mechanics so far, they look like they make a really fun, interesting experience!

The aesthetic is also a really unique look, I love the contrast of colours from light to the darkness and the parallax backgrounds, they really help to add a lot of visual depth to the gameplay!

I am really excited to see how this goes for you! I am very excited to give it a go either if you need testers or once it's released!

While personally I'm not big on survival games, I am utterly loving the Aesthetic of this, the colours really pop and make it feel like you're playing inside a painting! I will definitely have to try this out once it's released!

I hope production isn't too harsh on you! I'm sure this will end up super popular!

Hey so I just checked out your video and this is looking like a really fun puzzle/platformer! I really like the idea of the different surfaces causing lots of different reactions as the core hits them. It looks like you've put a lot of work into making the playable area feel good to explore which is always super important.

The new aesthetic looks super polished and I hope the team has enjoyed bringing this game up to what it is now!

Best of luck with the coming release!

Hey there! This looks like a really cool idea! I love the idea of the incredibly simple aesthetic and how it means you can focus on game play and story to create a really unique player experience.

While I can't really say much on recommendations to improving play based on what's provided here, I can say that it is a strong concept and I look forward to seeing how it progresses!

Oh the old Prince of Persia games are some of my favourites! I could see it working really well in this, to go with the theme I'm guessing there might be some light based puzzles as well, those are usually pretty fun!

I really look forward to seeing how this comes along! I hope it goes well for you!

This looks really exciting, I love the aesthetic! The monotone red/pink lends a really unique feel to the environment. Do you mind if I ask what kinds of puzzles you plan to incorporate?

I hope this is going well! The idea has a lot of potential!

Wow the graphics on this look really good! I love the style and the concept, it looks like it will be a really interesting game!

Will you be using a typing set up where certain beasts have advantages over certain others or is it basically pure power?

Okay I must have not been good enough to get to those upgrades, but I'll keep it in mind for when I play in the future.

Oh I also meant to say, a little trick I heard a while back, is people really like it if after you adjust the volume through the in game settings if it plays a little sound so you can figure out how much you've changed it. Just a little creature comfort thing if you feel like incorporating it.

It is a good game to pick up casually and I'm sure it will only get better as you continue!

I have got to say this is a pretty fun game, like it's still early stages but I can see it has a lot of potential! (I played Windows build 3)

A few things that I'm going to comment on:
1. I didn't seem to be able to pick up cars, I'm guessing that's going to be a feature because it would be the main source of ammunition.

2. A lot of the police officers would run to the other side of the road where I couldn't do anything to them, not even the stomp was working, unless I hadn't unlocked what to do there maybe try to make it so everything the player does affects both sides of the road.

3. I'm guessing this is coming in but a lot of special effects to ad feedback would probably be a major selling point on a game like this, like maybe leaving temporary footprints and blood splatters where you kill people.

All in all though this is looking really promising! I can't wait to see how it progresses!

It's no trouble at all!

Yeah, even while you're in alpha states obvious controls or tutorials can be pretty important for the sake of testers. The alternate powers makes a lot of sense as to why you'd choose those buttons.

But yeah this game looks like it will become a really fun platformer as you continue development, I'll keep an eye on it to see if there are newer builds to test at later stages as well.

Well while I would love to play it I'll leave it up to you as to whether you think you have anything to learn from testing an old build. I mean, if you'd rather I test a build in the future I can do that no problem.

Oh wow those emotional states seem like they'd be difficult to get right but definitely worth the payoff! It would be a great unique experience and yeah sounds super cool!

Oh cool, that will definitely make sure the player needs to choose how they use them wisely, unlike me who would probably use them all immediately!

That's going to be great, to really capture the frustration at yourself for failing at critical moments and just constantly trying to outdo yourself, top stuff!

A casual mode is always a good feature for people who don't always want to be under that stress, or for general shooting practice.

Sounds like you've got big plans for this and I think it should work well! You've got a great base idea and sounds like you're striving to make it as open to audiences as possible while staying true to your idea.

I really look forward to seeing how this progresses!

So I was just sitting down playing this for a while, I really like how unique a lot of the mechanics are, the sticking to roofs and such is a really cool idea!

I'd say this is going pretty well, I just have a few recommendations to consider as you progress:
-Maybe use space bar for jumping/enter for selecting levels. With jump and level select both bound to the "j" key I didn't figure out how to do either until I went through pressing every button on my keyboard. Space is often used for jumping because your thumb is usually resting on it, I'm sure you have your own reason for using J so maybe just an option somewhere in the finished game?

-When it came to selecting levels I had no idea what to do, tried clicking, pressing lots of buttons, if there was a prompt to say "j" is to select that would be fine, but if you're not going to prompt you should probably try using keys people will think of sooner.

-With the blue slimes, the introduction to them feels a bit unneeded where it is, it's important to teach your player about them, but maybe in a section where it would feel more meaningful.

Overall this is looking like a great game and I hope you get to finish it because I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy it! Best of luck!

Wow this looks like it is a great example of ambient horror, just watching that video drew me in so much! I love how the house is both feels realistic and is also a super typical American horror movie house, with all the little scares along the way this is looking like it will be a great horror game!

I'd love to say more but this is all going by the video, which again looks amazing.

If you'd like to send me a demo I can offer more feedback but I'd say you're on a pretty good track from what I can see!

I hope this project goes really well for you Craedon!
