This is a new model made by former Lead Artist on Doom 3, Kenneth Scott. It was first showed in the Macworld 2001 id tech 4 demo. It got nicknamed "birdman".

He has confirmed on Twitter this was meant to be the Baron of Hell.

From the video it looks like you have other mods installed and running together with Phobos. That's probably why it crashes. We do not recommend using any other mods together with Phobos. We can't guarantee what will happen.

Also we don't recommend using EAX 4.0 HD.

When it saves or when it loads? Do you have a link to when it happens?

Are you trying to run it with a Doom 3 port like dhewm3? Those are not supported

Huh weird! I use the steam version for testing just fine. We haven't actually tested with the GOG version. I'm happy you got it to work with that :D

Try turning down antialiasing a bit and see if that helps.

Try to manually set r_mode to "-1" and r_aspectRatio to "1" in tfphobos/DoomConfig.cfg

Looks like the same issue that jns. has further up the comments from here. Try and follow my instructions. If not look closely in the readme file and see if that doesn't help you.

Where is your tfphobos folder installed. It should be next to the d3xp folder

Try adding this:

+set fs_game tfphobos +set fs_game_base d3xp

As Launch options under properties on your Doom 3 install in Steam.

Does your Doom 3 folder in your steam directory have the d3xp folder in it? If so it is installed.
