That is NOT TRUE! Phone Guy on night 1 CLEARLY states that, "You are the second night guard to work in that establishment," the first being the guard that was moved to day shift and is the murderer. This means that when you get your pay check on night 7 and it says guard #3 that means that it IS, IN FACT, CHRONOLOGICAL. If you don't believe me, listen to the FNaF 2 Phone Calls, I think it's either on night 1 or 2 that you'll hear PG explain this to you.

I have a theory: what if the FNaF4 animatronics are possessed by the other 5 children? By 5 others I mean we can safely assume that in the happiest day minigame, all masked children are the dead children and it wouldn't make sense for it to only be the five ones that we are familiar with that are dead. There were at least 11 children that went missing and were killed (As shown by the FNaF2 mini games, you can just watch game theories video on FNaF explained for a few examples.) so those masked children could be the other 5 or if there are more, then whatever number it is. We've never seen them be freed or the robots they are stuffed in (assuming that's what the masks represent), so maybe we finally get to see their stories in the final game and how they were freed or something along those lines.

Actually, if you listen to Phone Guy in FNaF3, you will hear him tell you, " welcome to FREDDY FAZBEAR'S PIZZA," and then talk about the spring-lock suits, in the mini-game in FNaF2 where it shows only Freddy in a small establishment could, and is more likely to be Fredbear's, if we get a nightmare SpringTrap, We'll have to get a nightmare spring-Freddy, too. Even THEN Golden Freddy has only 4 fingers, crossing him out as a candidate to be spring Freddy, which means we'll have to get a nightmare GF, too. Not to mention that Shadow Freddy looks EXACTLY like GF with the the exception of color, and if you look closely, he ALSO Has 4 fingers, meaning he couldn't be spring Freddy either. We haven't seen Fredbear's fingers yet, so...we'll see them and maybe finally decided what the hell is going on here.
