It seems like this game isn't actually playable on WinXP / Win7 without being run being run under a debugger (I use IDA Pro Free). It also yields poor framerates on my machine unless Windows Media Player or iTunes is running. I think it's an old DirectX thing related to sound use - similarly old games suffer the same issue. Amusing, to say the least.
Poo, looks like 40fps video just gets chopped to 30fps when uploaded to ModDB anyways. Oh well, still a fun experiment getting an old DirectX game run under a debugger to record. :P
