Spooky eyes in the woods, oh no
Love that music, kinda reminds me of Deus Ex.
Your puns are really draining me.
I spent most of the video trying to discern your accent. Then I realised I can just check your ModDB profile.
Cool concept though, don't think I've ever seen this attempted in this game before so it's interesting to see how it turns out.
Huh, this is something I've always wished the based game had, better neutral planet defenses.
That description made me laugh more than it should have. You guys have a great sense of humour.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a soldier's mech: no time to talk.
All I ever seem to do with this mod is suggest stuff you guys are already implementing. Clearly I should start critiquing things you haven't even thought of yet.
That super laser on the Dragon needs fancier particle effects!
Still, it's good to see you guys interacting with the community and definitely good to see you're going to make the stompy robots as awesome as they can be!
Huh, really cool. Also reminds me a lot of the Mad Cat from BattleTech now I'm seeing it in-game with the shoulder missiles and arm cannons.
I couldn't really tell that well from the footage but does this have three seats or four? I could see at least a driver, gunner and what looked like a commander seat but at least one of the seats controls two weapon systems, I think.
Also, shouldn't the cannons have a bit of recoil? Either making the legs flex when they're fired or spin the torso a bit to the side? Which also also reminds me, I hope there's zeroing on the cannons because it looks kind of annoying to have to aim to the side of the crosshair to hit stuff, heh.
Also also also, those rockets seem to travel kind of slowly, they take forever to reach their target, or is that WIP?
Okay, I'll stop poking holes in your awesome mech. I really love it to be honest, great work!
I wouldn't mind being given stuff to help out with the mod. I mean, I have next to no talent but I like to see things reach their full potential, that counts for something, right?
Reminds me of Atlantis if anything, the Stargate one. Cool as hell too, you have great ambitions of this mod, I'd love to see them come to fruition.
Is that helmet going to be part of the final design? I hope so, non-standard shaped helmets are cool.
Heh, yeah, a lack of sleep would be lovely.
As a little niggling criticism it'd be nice if there were slight swaying animations, side to side, when the mech moves. Even something with such rigid leg movements would probably sway noticeably considering its size. Just an idea, though I imagine it'd be a lot more work than it's worth.
Oh wow, the amount of detail that's gone into the animations is amazing. The little jiggle of the joints as the feet land and it stablises itself, the toes on the feet being picked up at the hinge and dragging at the tips, everything about it. Love me some lovingly made mechs.
Unfortunately, giant mechs aren't known for being particularly calming in any situation.
Some amazing looking level design, though a few of the assets look rather out of place for the current HL2 universe it's not that bad. It's always a shame when you miss personal goals, and having promised a release date only to fail must feel horrible. Even so take all the time you can to make this the best mod you can, anyone who really wants this will wait.
Holy hell, yes. Arguably the biggest disappointment for Halo Wars is how toned down the bases were from that initial concept demo. I remember loving everything they looked like they would add only to stare in disbelief when the playable demo hit Xbox Live at what they'd done.
While I appreciate that due to engine limitations and various other issues you'll likely not be able to get anywhere near that kinda of detail I think it's great you're trying. More RTS games need buildings that're more than just big blocks of metal that do nothing when idle.
Raptor makes me think of something quick and agile, while sloth is better suited to a slow and lumbering transport ship.
While I appreciate your enthusiasm for these awards it'd be nice if you slapped a less obnoxious watermark on this image, one that doesn't cover up half of it maybe.
Hell yes, if you're still able to work on it then please continue to do so. I know that I for one would love to play it.
You may want to slow down the walking animation or increase the Walker's speed, because right now the movement of its legs and its forward momentum don't really work together, giving it a rather goofy look. It still looks pretty bad *** though, nice work on the model.
I also love the way you've implemented hacking, having to actually interact with the console. Too many games just have "hold E to use mad haxor skillz".
I dunno, it feels like something bad may happen in there...
This is actually a pretty cool concept, though unfortunately I have no idea how to mod in this game. I wish you the best of luck.
I'm quite a fan of V1 but V4 seems to be the most Covenant like in my eyes.
Mmmm, chocolate sailing ships...
This gives an explanation of it but yeah, this speedrun uses no cheats at all.

I always found the "crouch jump backwards, gain infinite speed" exploit was hilarious. Somehow seeing it in the tight confines of this mod makes it even /more/ hilarious.
