As of Division 2, it's currently up to Ravenholm.

RTBR is like Black Mesa in that it pushes the Source Engine more than regular HL2 or the Episodes. It has high visual fidelity and a lot of props/clutter in most of the levels, so it taxes ones system a bit more than other Source games/mods.
Well it's trying to mimic what an actual Episode 3 would have looked like, which likely would have looked similar to both Eps 1 and 2 in terms of quality. It has the feel and look of what an Episode 3 from, say, 2008/2009 would have looked like.
Both are great in their own way, and I think both are great for exploring their own takes on the Beta.
Personally I would give the edge to RTBR for having more content and being overall the more fun mod currently, but I enjoy both mods equally.
Look forward to the day I can play the whole retail game like this.
From what I remember, it originally stood for "Mini-Mod" I think.
It due to how the visible body works that it impedes looking completely up or down while crouched.
COMPATIBILITY PATCH SUPPORT IN THE UPDATE TO MMOD!!!
Oh baby, here comes all your favorite mods getting MMod versions! :D
Mark has said before that unless the code for OF and BS are released he can't make versions of MMod for them.
He did live in Ukraine, Mariupol of all places too. He's currently working on emigrating and getting settled down, and after talking with him in PMs he says that once he's settled and can get a new computer he's going to continue work on the mods.
Depending on where you have the game installed, the game's main directory should be "Grand Theft Auto Vice City", and in there should be the game executable labeled "gta-vc.exe". Place the 1.0 version in there and it should replace the original exe.
Update, Mark and his family are alive and okay!

I really hope you're doing okay and staying safe.
For anyone who doesn't know, Mark lives in Ukraine, and obviously, you know what's going on over there. I imagine it's the reason he's been quiet lately both here and on Twitter.
I'm assuming they're asking how to install the mod.
Your own health always comes first.
Overall, that was pretty fantastic. Although, I will say, most of the custom animations feel very... stiff. Kinda robotic and not super natural. But otherwise, pretty damn awesome, and looking forward to the next chapter.
They are, yeah. "Black Mesa: Blue Shift" is being made by HECU Collective as a mod for Black Mesa, utilizing BM's assets.
"Guard Duty" is being made from the ground up entirely by hand as its own game.
Which is such a shame, but hey, what can ya do.
Maybe it might be worth just removing the original at this point, cause clearly the two big warnings in the title aren't doing the trick, lol.
At the current pace of development you've got going, do you think we'll have access to the mod this year, or next?
There's really not much else that can be done with Brutal Doom at this point, I imagine. Other than further optimizing it, or adding a new weapon or two, it's pretty much as refined as it can get.
There's also the fact that Mark is working on a full-feature game right now, "Brutal Fate", which is taking up most of his time and incorporates most of what is in Brutal Doom already, just in its own standalone game.
I will say, check out Project Brutality if you haven't already. It's a spin-off mod from BD that adds a lot of extra stuff and is in constant development.
He's not, due to not having access to the code for them and he feels it's not worth the time investment with how much he's having to do for regular MMod.
Will it be possible for the community to create "patches" for HL1 mods, like people have done for HL2MMod?
That's what I meant to say, v2. And that's perfectly understandable; between this and GenEvo you're keeping yourself very busy lately.
Do you plan on resuming work on HL2 MMod after this is completed, or are working on both simultaneously?
Ah, well that would make sense then. Though that it is odd that the code isn't available; did Gearbox just never release the code to the public?
