As I said on the first page of the comments it has come a long way since it very first ever started. I remember downloading it on Christmas Eve and played it all day on Christmas day & Boxing day rather than playing new games that i got for Christmas cause it was so good. I also went as far as trying to make my own maps in the Gem editor to play the mod on. The last version is very good and soon when Foxboro releases the final version it will be definitely worth the wait! Smile for the end will be near soon and then we can all play Resident Evil literally on the PC on Men of War: Assault Squad ;)

Just like when trying to find a directory you have to SOMETIMES make a folder called Mods.

It is good that you appreciate how busy Foxboro is like all of us are. I would be working on my gaming development related stuff; however am doing a university course in Graphic Design so my time is very limited. Am actually on my lunch hour just replying back to you all on behalf of Foxboro I guess you can say but yes this will be a very good mod!. It is definitely worth the wait and Foxboro will release it when A) When he is ready too B) When he deems it worth too.

Firstly the game is for Men of War (the original only!) just in case your unsure. The final version which Foxboro is working on will be released for Men of War: Assault Squad but at this current time the current downloads are not compatible with Assault Squad.

If you have a empty Men of War Assault Squad (as in clean without any mods installed, then do the following)

INSTALATION

1) Be sure to have at least the v1.17.5 of Mow working

2) Delete any previous version of the mod

3) Extract ( with winrar) the first part of the mod, in "505games/Men of war/Mods folder" (if the mods folder doesn't exist, just create it)

4) Extrat the part 2 of the mod in "Men of war/mods/Resident Evil Alternative Chronicles/ Resource" folder.

5) Launch the game, go in the options, turn on RE : AC, restart the game, and you're good to go !

Those are the instructions that Foxboro has given. If you have any problems then ask Foxboro in a private message (BARE in mind please that he has a busy life) or you can message me also. If it comes to it i can always PM Foxboro with any issues that people have. Should you get any more error messages then PLEASE take a screenshot and upload it to moddbase.com so we can see exactly what the error is.

Firstly with all mods there are some issues when trying to use certain models + skins in the editor as it can and does crash the game; however you should not be trying to use any zombie models/skins in the fauna section. If you wish to use one then look in the model/skin section instead. Hope this helps!.

Do not worry as Foxboro works on this mod when he is able to find the time. It is nearly done; however a "great mod" always has work that can be added to it so he may have found even more key elements that he is to add; however the end result will be very, very satisfactory I can assure you!

Will be very worth the wait so just keep supporting him and it will soon come before you know it.

I know all that he keeps saying he will release it by Christmas, by February and by other dates; however as I am sure you all can appreciate he does have a life also. Respectively he is also doing a medical course which will be very demanding on his time. Plus if the only few last bits he needs to do are the gritty boring bits then it will be hard for him to motivate himself to do them. In time it will be done. I remember when i first played that one mission demo and have since then been a big support, so much that happily I am a voice actor in this mod. Rep to Foxboro as he deserves far more recognition for his contributions to this community.

Just to let you know my friend Aaron who is the lead for this mod has ceased all work on this project so this mod is officially dead guys! Just thought id let you all know ;)

In all fairness without any screenshots or specific info about this mod (as it is very limited) I definately would not download it. Will stick to Craftbukkit, the minecraft.net forums or 9minecraft.net.

Like everyone else he has a very busy schedule with his course so he has little time to mod and therefore cannot reply back to every comment. Patience is a virtue.

Can't wait for the update. Just will be a hassle with waiting for the servers from the hosting companies to update to the latest patch and for the server mods to update, especially for my server. Overall am impressed (thumbs up) xD

I personally am comfortable waiting for the release as my anticipation is that this game will be the best zombie apocolypse indie game out there that it will even be better than any retail "professional" game. This game basically is the "dream" game I would always want to play that in my 10 years of gaming I have always wanted to see. So I am not here to complain like others and just give my thumbs up to the Indie Stones!. Seriously guys this team is working for perfection. I have worked on games and it does take a very long time to develop and create and this crew is amazing with regular updates compared to other organisations that leave it to 6 months to 9 just to give a brief update. So learn to be patient people. You only complain cause you are able too in replies to their posts. So just be patient, buckle up and enjoy the wait for I truly believe that it will be totally worth it in the end! Rep and thumbs up for the developers!

Although there is progress quite often the developer (my friend) does say that this mod is no where near a release, that includes a released beta/demo!.... Mostly it is just the odd skins/models & maps that are being worked on so as for this mod it is still a W.I.P and you will have to wait I am afraid :)

I told him to make it a Spring update as Spring was only a few days around the corner from this update. You don't have to be so focussed on the fact it says Spring but more on what the developer has said in his update as I pushed him to make it; otherwise you would not have had an update guys

I am very impressed with the continuous updates and love playing the various test build versions that have been uploaded to the IndieForums to give us a more updated version to play. I cannot express just like we all can't express just how desperately excited and how much we are dying to play this. We get more and more excited by the new announcements and ideas that you put forward that it kills us on just how much new stuff is coming. I personally am from the UK and develop using TileSets for game develop and for my graphics course am working on a live client project to design for a game so I know and can understand truly on how much work you lot are putting into this. Ever need a hand in the future you can always drop me a message by the way. But good work all the same! We are all very, very excited for the release.

Everyone should pay attention to his updates which state that the Star Wars mod has first priority .. the Civil War & WW2 mod won't be finished for a much longer duration as his focus is not currently on them in great depth priority.
