Blitz MAX is much more than your average BASIC. Even though it seems simple, it can do SO much more. Not only do you get to create amazing CROSS PLATFORM 2D games, but with the correct mods, you can create 3D games as well. And it also comes with its own GUI development kit, so you can create software as well. This BASIC Ide can also import lua scrpts, and even C/C++ files!
