Yes. I'm looking forward to release the first big update this year. Most content is allready finished but polishing takes like forever.

Nope. The gameplay is very different compared to Pirates.
Can you tell me which java version you're running?
Hi tehdaftpunk,
I wrote you a pm. Hope we can solve this.
hm, Nope. It should work on windows. Can you give me your hardware specs via pm?
Greetings Earthdforce. Are you using linux or windows?
About the comment in the code "(donno why we have to use 2 getchar() with the GCC mingw compiler O.o)".
I think that's because windows interprets an enter with ascii '13' and ascii '10' as linux only uses ascii '10' (and macOS ascii '13'. It's just hilarious -.-). So if you press enter you'll get two characters.
Not really my kind of game but the concept and realisation is great.
Try with the small ship (it's the fastest one) and upgrade the sails (if you spend money in other upgrades you can remove these to regain the gold). Also use the booster spots.
On the down right of the race track is a small shortcut (the part which is peppered with mines ^^). If you manage to go throught it you will gain some more seconds.
Good luck. : )
Hi loasmo,
it's a bug. I fixed it in the current version. The update will be available in the next days.

Hi,
thanks for the review. Great to hear that you like the game. : )
Hm sounds that there's something buggy. I'll take a look at it.
On which OS are you playing it?
Great to hear that : )
I'm currently experimenting with sail simulation and a new ocean system. Also I'm working on a world map which will replace the mission menu. On it you will be able to travel around, select missions and some other stuff. It's all in the concept phase but it looks promising.
So all in all: yeah, I'm going to release updates which will enhance the game.
As I'm the developer I would say: brilliant ^^
I tested it on several linux distributions and there was no difference to the windows version.
If you're not sure you can try the demo.
Thanks for the comment. It was very helpful : )
You have to buy the armory to unlock the other rage shot types.
Hi loasmo. When the left orb starts to blink, press the right mouse button (the upper left gamepad button) to fire the rage shot. You can select the rage shot types between each mission in the ship menu but you have to gather them at first by buying the weapon shop.
I'll support the game with updates. the next will be some smaller ones with some new effects and game tweaks. Also I'm currently planning a bigger update with new content.
Thanks Erlend. Wouldn't be possible without the engine from you and the other jme guys.^^
Sorry, currently there are some problems with the fullscreen-mode so I deactivated it for now. When I get a proper solution for that an update will be ready.
Hi edgley. Is there any error message when you try to run the .sh-file?
This was an awesome voyage through the w40k history and maybe the longest image gallery of all fangroups.
Look. The witch has a new toy soldier. I wonder how long he could resist her ancient charme.
I can't tell how happy I am about that.
But as always: this wouldn't be possible without a bunch of monkeys developing a great engine.^^
