From Crusader: No Remorse to Fallout, all the way to Diablo II and eventually Pillars of Eternity, this style has maintained its unique look to this day. Recent entries like the spectacular Stasis scifi horror are a proof that this art style is still going strong. Many other genres besides adventure and rpg have used this too, like the old school 2,5D shooters such as Duke Nukem 3D and strategy games like Red Alert 2 and Age of Empires, and of course the fabulous Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus sidescrollers to name but a few. This group is meant for appreciating this technique and keeping this fine art alive.
