Using a Prepaid Visa Thread - Desura

I'm trying to buy a game with a prepaid Visa I have, but have so far had no luck.

When I chose the Visa payment option, it gave me this error:
"Your credit card has been declined, you have not been charged. Please ensure your bank allows international transactions, you are using a valid credit card, have funds and try again. We also recommend you try paying via Paypal."

When I tried to pay using Paypal, it told me I had a "Invalid debit or credit card type."

I tried making an actual paypal account so that I could move the money from the card to the account and then just pay with my paypal account, but apparently you need to be 18 to add money to your paypal account, and I'm 17. That seems like a fairly arbitrary rule, but theres nothing I can do about that, unless I lie about my age, which I would really rather not do.

I've gotten the prepaid card to work on Amazon, so I know it works. Desura apparently just doesn't like it.

Any suggestions?

I am in the exact same situation as you, but with a MasterCard prepaid card. Damn you, PayPal.
