I have heard a lot of good thing when it comes to "Hyouka" series, but it haven't been dubbed since it come out for 5 years ago. But now it's finally here with dubbed episode in english.
When I watch anime, I almost only want to watch them dubbed in English. Mostly because I hate reading text, when I'd rather want to see what's going on the screen. If I want to read the text, I can rather read a manga or a book...
But I do have a very high respect for those who like to listen to Japanese voice, rather than English. Since anime is Japanese after all.

I'm sorry to say this, but i hate dub with a passion. The only two anime ever dubbed properly in the past 20 or so years were DBZ and Shaman King.
Why do i hate it?
#1 You lose so much flavor and emotion with a dub, it's just not the same.
#2 The dubs are oftentimes completely wrong in their translations, so much so that i face palm myself every time i hear it.

True true, but many times the english sub is wrong too... So if I can't speak or understand Japanese, so will it be wrong even if it's dubbed or subbed.
same here, unless its black lagoon its either bad or atrocious (looking at you prision school)
Word jokes/puns also don't work, which is definitely why I hope Monogatari never gets a dub
And subs don't have either of these problems? Lol. Get over yourself.
Hell, sometimes the original dubbing doesn't make sense to begin with, so dubbing it in a different language doesn't really remove anything.
