Description
We are Eva is a unique dimensional travel platformer with a charismatic protagonist who lives beyond the fourth wall. You play the game in multiple dimensions simultaneously, traveling through them at will, trying to help Eva (the main protagonist) save shattered worlds, each of which poses different threats.
History
The idea of creating a platformer about traveling through dimensions arose back in 2016 while watching Stranger Things. But making such a game seemed quite a difficult task at the time.
In February 2018, Totally Normal Creature released a well-received platformer called E.Z to get the missing experience needed to make a bigger game.
The development of We are Eva began in 2019. The game went through many changes during its development and eventually combined elements of Celeste, Stranger Things, and Deadpool.
Four years later, after surviving dozens of burnt deadlines (and even ballistic missiles during the Russian invasion of Ukraine), the game is ready to release.
