SuperChicken Battles the Penguin Horde Web game

SuperChicken Battles The Penguin Horde is a bullet-hell arcade, with a simple goal: shoot everything that moves. And when they stopped moving, shoot them some more.

You'll encounter aggressive penguins, rabid samurai rabbits, crazed bomb worms, mad hare fighter jets and the boss of them all, the Penguin King. You can select between 2 heroes, the BabyChicken and the SuperChicken, each with its own special powers and campaigns.

Collect energy bubbles from the defeated enemies to upgrade your powers.

Two game modes are also available. In “Forever Endless”, you try to stay alive as long as you can. In “Super Dodgeball”, you cannot shoot, but you have to dodge the evil eyes.

Various control methods are available, try to complete the game with each as an extra challenge!

Try the cheats, if you feel like it, just type, during a mission, “god” (invicibiliy), “bat” (turn upside-down) or “tiny” (guess what it does!). It's an extra layer of fun on the fun cake, but it won't count toward your stats.

This game was originally developed in 2011, in Haxe, for Flash and ported to HTML5 in 2018 using Haxe and OpenFL. It is, unfortunately, one of my all-time under-performers, despite the otherwise high production quality for a casual web game.
