StarDrive is a 4X Action-Strategy game where the goal is to build a space empire. Starting with a single planet and a small number of space-worthy vessels, you forge out into the galaxy, exploring new worlds, building new colonies, and discovering the StarDrive universe. The heart of StarDrive is its ship design and combat engine. StarDrive takes a module-based approach to ship design, allowing the player to create custom ship designs where the composition and placement of ship modules really matters to the performance of a ship in combat. In combat, if your portside armor is taking a beating, then rotate around and show them the starboard side! Hide behind a friendly capital ship's shields, warp into and out of the fray, launch fighters, lay mines, and so much more.
Cockpit AND a bridge...interesting...
well i guess you have to run to the front of the ship and then run back to give orders...
You are both silly. The cockpit is where the actual piloting is done while the bridge would be more akin to a hub where the navigation (plotting the course for the pilots to follow) and actual command originates.
It would be a common design in larger ships as the captain is not always necessarily the pilot. :)
They were joking around.
LOL What happens if the cockpit is cut off from comms to the Bridge??? guess you have to run to the front of the ship and then run back to give orders... LOL
Cockpit and a Bridge are the same thing, one is for aircraft and the other for a ship!!!!
It makes sence, you just have to think outside the box. The bridge is where captain / management is at. And the cockpit is where the pilot / employee is at. Orders happen over the internal communication system.
Haha, this is just a demo shot, not an in-game capture. Wait until you see the new bridge are we made. Coming soon!
i was wondering about the armor plating do you have to place the guns on the outside of the plates for them to fire properly or can they fire through them?
Ofcourse you can fire thru your own armorplating if you'd like som nasty holes in them
