We at Angry Rock Studios have learned a lot about the development of iPhone games over this development cycle, one of the main things we've been learning about recently is the approval process. There is a lot of red tape for an indie developer submitting to the app store, one of the main things is the creation of a legitimate business entity is required to have it show up as the seller of the game. Since we are lacking that at the moment we will be using one of our lead members name, Jarlan Perez, to release the game under initially and switch to our indie groups name at a later date. So yea... if your an indie iOS developer, definitely something to be aware of.
We also wanted to post up some of the in-game art you'll see during the zone transitions. These will be your introduction into each zone's different hazard themes. We wanted to bring a little illustration to the game (seeing as it's 100% 3D) but at the same time we didnt want the typical flash-based art of most of the illustrated games out there, so we went with a more sketchy and stylized look. Hope you like.
We want to make sure that everything goes smoothly upon release so we are taking an extra week or so and making sure everything is perfect (a few last minute tweaks and improvements have come to our attention recently). We are still aiming for a March 1st release but it is entirely possible that we may need to push it until the following week, but in lieu of that we are happy to announce that we are currently holding our first giveaway for SMINIS PROMO CODES!
