Shadow Spire looms on the horizon and Undead pour forth at an alarming rate. The Kingdom is overrun, all hope is lost...
Take control of Rorke, Knight-General of the King's Guard as you battle your way across four unique areas and hundreds of rooms in an epic adventure to reach the top of Shadow Spire, rescue the King and defeat Lord Cynric.
On your journey you'll face dozens of unique enemies and powerful bosses, unravel 50+ puzzles, unlock hidden areas, unearth tons of loot, craft unique items, and rescue townsfolk who will aid you in your quest.

Shadow Spire is still in early Beta. There are many known bugs, please send feedback and suggestions if you run across any. A big sorry in advance if you do, as well as huge thanks up front for giving it a try.
We're releasing it now to see if there is any interest in having us finish it. If so, we will happily update and polish it as fast as we can.

All music is temporary. We acquired it from newgrounds.com and only use it as a placeholder for final musical scores. We will replace it once the game is out of Beta.

Awsome game couple of questions
1.Will you be adding character classes in the game?
2.Will there be any unlockble modes for after yiou beat the game like a new game plus?
3.Will you have secret rooms?

Balance related updates...
- Changed star attacks so they consume 2 stars max, allows to better mix them in with other magic uses (heal, charge) and makes mana more valuable in general.
- Increased the damage on Ghould Launchers, was almost 0 before
- Other smaller tweaks. Keyboard shortcuts are still not hooked up... I'm actually getting used to playing with out them?! But, I'll hook them back up soon :).
Pushed a set of UI fixes:
- Buy / Sell now highlight appropriately when you select items from an NPC's stock
- Changed the "interact with item" button in the UI to a magnifying lens rather than a set of gears
Next:
- Not 100% happy with the new mana system... I think you need to acquire more star slots throughout the game, and have the "star attack" take at most 3 stars, rather than all of them.
Just pushed out a big update, all new UI, lots of visual improvements to the level, and an new model for mana management.
Thinking about adding a punchout star system for handling mana use for talents. Should be in the next beta update.
Shadow Spire updates...
- Doubled the the mana cost of Heroic Charge, it was over powered.
- Fixed a set of general bugs around "challenge encounters" which would cause the hero to be stuck in a room that they couldn't get out of.
- Laid the foundation for a new mana system that will improve the tactics around combat, more details when it's in released.
