Realmstone is a fantasy multiplayer hack and slash game with some kingdom building elements. You take control of a merchant house and employ various level able champions to go out into the world an bring back treasures to your house. We draw strongly on traditional fantasy settings games such as Master of Magic and Moonstone.

There are alot of raid instances around (most south) Parnassus. These raids are of very high lv and should not be there.

Also there are roving high level monsters just south of Parnassus that move from east to west and vice versa.

I have been making some changes to the way instances are spawned and that might have caused a few anomalies.
Roaming monsters have been implemented - they roam all over the map and can be very powerful, but should quite easy to evade.
Roaming monsters can drop rare loot and can gain levels.

Sounds like a good idea true, but they seem to be going in lines from left to right just south of Parnassus. Just seems like they are too close to the start of the game.

I'm pretty sure their movement is random - sometimes they will hunt each other - that could explain the movement you saw.

These champion mobs spawn from instances and travel in a radom direction from there,
it they hit the map border they change direction - kinda like pong.
